Description

At Level 3, learners will be introduced to the principles of hospitality management. This includes an introduction to hospitality management, an overview of the hotel industry, and the restaurant industry. Learners will also develop leadership and management skills specific to the restaurant industry, as well as understand the process of selection and recruitment in the hospitality industry.

At Level 5, learners will develop effective front office and food and beverage operations management strategies. They will understand the basics of food safety, including food safety legislation and management systems. Learners will also develop skills in food safety supervision and management tools.

At Level 7, learners will dive deeper into food safety techniques. They will understand contamination hazards, food poisoning, personal hygiene, food premises and equipment design and construction, pest management, and staff training related to food safety.
